This whiskey is made with Heaven Hill’s “high-rye” mashbill of 63% rye, 24% corn, and 13% malted barley, and the nose has touches of dried flowers, toasted oak, molasses, and baking spices. The taste has a nice spiciness with notes of cinnamon and allspice complemented by dried fruits and toasted oak. The finish is long and spicy. Excellent! (June, 2024)
