Hart Brothers Invergordon 22 Years Old
Country: Scotland
Region:
Type: Single Grain
Bottler: Hart Brothers
ABV: 52.8%
Score: 92 Points
Single grain Scotch whiskies can often provide more value than one expects, and that is the case with this cask-strength bottling from Hart Brothers. The nose has notes of molasses, dried fruits, Christmas cake, gentle spices, and a hint of campfire ashes. The taste is full of Christmas cake and orange marmalade, along with raisins and a nice spiciness that builds up gradually and lasts through the finish while hints of sultanas and Christmas cake linger in the background. Nice! (January, 2019)
