This sweet mash rye whiskey from Indiana’s Hard Truth Distilling has rye spices on the nose, along with touches of molasses, honey, vanilla, and baking chocolate. The taste has notes of clove, cinnamon, and black pepper spice, with molasses, vanilla, honey, and black cherries adding balance and complexity. The finish is long with lingering spices and a touch of black cherries. (December, 2024)
