This peated Hakushu single malt was released in 2023 to celebrate the House of Suntory’s 100th anniversary of making whisky. The nose has a subtle smokiness along with touches of toasted caramel, honey, and hints of tropical fruits. The taste has a soft smokiness balanced by grilled pineapple, a hint of grapefruit, and honey for a thick, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long and tart with a kiss of smoke. (August, 2023)
