GreatDrams Girvan 30 Single Cask
Country: Scotland
Region: Lowlands
Type: Single Grain
Bottler: GreatDrams
ABV: 54.5%
Score: 94 Points
This single grain Scotch whisky was distilled in December of 1989, and the nose has notes of candied orange slices, a hint of fresh berries, vanilla beans, and dried flowers. The taste is fruity with orange marmalade, fresh berries, subtle touches of ginger and allspice, a hint of vanilla, and a nice oakiness. The finish is very long and oak-forward balanced by lingering touches of fruits and spices. Excellent! (September, 2020)
