This Scotch has been a quiet mainstay among blends for many years. The nose is nutty with touches of cashews and almonds, a hint of dried banana chips, honey, raisins, and a subtle hint of smokiness. The taste is sweet and spicy with a good balance of ginger root and nutmeg notes that complement raisins, orange peel, and a hint of mango. The finish is long and well-rounded with a good balance of fruits and spices, along with just a hint of brown sugar. (April, 2019)
