This Rosebank from Gordon & MacPhail’s Rare Old series was bottled in 2014 after 24 years, yet it remains as vibrant as many younger whiskies. The nose is fruity and floral with peaches, lemon custard, and hints of brown sugar and honey. The taste is fruity with red apples, peaches, a hint of citrus tartness, honey, and a nice blend of dried flowers and herbs. The finish is long and tart. Excellent! (November, 2019)
