This 1999 bottling from Gordon & MacPhail gives us an idea of what the Speyside distillery was known for, with a dusty, earthy nose of garden soil and hints of dark fruits. The taste is fruity and gentle with touches of brown sugar, allspice, and butterscotch for a simple, smooth flavor. The finish is long, delicate, and smooth with a hint of fruity tartness.
