Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseur’s Choice Dallas Dhu 1971
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail
ABV: 40%
Score: 94 Points
This single malt was bottled in 1996, and has a warm, malty, and brothy nose with touches of baked apples, subtle oak, and soft spices. The taste starts off creamy and smooth, then turns meaty and spicy with grilled meat and pineapple balanced by hints of banana and coconut underneath. The finish has a subtle beefiness with a hint of tartness. (November, 2015)
