The Glenrothes 1973

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 94 Points

The Glenrothes 1973 Vintage.A very complex and luscious dram, with a nose of honey, vanilla, brown sugar, dried fruits, and orange peel. The taste is honey, toffee, oranges, a hint of peaches, white grapes, and marmalade. The finish is slightly tart with white grapes, a hint of spices, and a slight kiss of smoke. Outstanding!
