Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14. Image courtesy Glenmorangie. This 14-year-old of Quinta Ruban replaced the original 12-year-old version in 2019, but remains a Port-cask finished single malt with two additional years in the wine casks. The nose has notes of chocolate-covered almonds, sandalwood, dried flowers, and a hint of butterscotch. The taste is fruity with citrus, red apples, a hint of peach nectar, spicy touches of white pepper and allspice underneath, and hints of almond oil and dark chocolate. The finish is long, fruity, and luscious. (October, 2019)
