Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or. Image courtesy Glenmorangie. This no-age-statement version replaced the original Nectar D’Or 12-year-old release, and while it continues to be finished in Sauternes wine casks, there’s a slightly more intense flavor. The nose has notes of green grapes, white wine, subtle hints of citrus, honey, and vanilla. The taste is thick and fruity with hints of orange peel and other citrus fruits, followed by a burst of white pepper that fades to reveal green grapes and vanilla along with the citrus. The finish is long and dry. (June, 2020)
