Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46%
Score: 93 Points
Glenmorangie’s Bill Lumsden created this whisky in collaboration with noted New York pastry chef Dominique Ansel. The nose is complex with notes of pineapple upside-down cake, orange peel, ginger, butterscotch, and Demerara sugar. The taste is sweet and candied with a subtle hint of spices, ginger, shortbread cookies, and a hint of licorice. The finish is short and sweet with a hint of dry spice. Very nice! (September, 2020)
