Glenlossie 1992 Cask #981
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Duncan Taylor
ABV: 51.2%
Score: 93 Points
This 19-year-old single cask from Duncan Taylor’s Dimensions range is warm and softly spiced on the nose, with notes of banana cream pie, ginger, nutmeg, and slightly grassy with a hint of coconut. The taste is spicy and peppery, though, with a good black pepper note, a hint of linseed oil, lemon, ginger, vanilla, and coconut with an oily mouthfeel. The finish has spices that fade slowly with hints of lemon and coconut. Excellent. (January, 2013)
