Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 92 Points

Glenfiddich malt master Brian Kinsman crafted this whisky by finishing it in Somerset Paloma casks that had previously been used for a blend of apple brandy and apple juice. The nose has notes of green apples, banana, and citrus fruits. The taste starts off thin and light, then develops complexity with notes of green apples, allspice, ginger snap cookies, and honey. The finish is long with a touch of ginger. (November, 2023)
