Glenfiddich Distillery Edition

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 51%

Score: 92 Points

This non-chill-filtered cask strength vatting of ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-Bourbon casks produced a nose of fresh-cut flowers and grass balanced well with touches of vanilla, pepper, and a touch of maltiness. The taste is creamy with a good peppery spiciness and soft notes of dried apples and figs underneath, along with hints of azalea and rose petals. The finish is long and warming with a dry sweetness.
