Glenfiddich 30
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 81 Points
There have been several versions of the Glenfiddich 30 over the years. This one was bottled at 40% ABV, and the nose is subtle with slight hints of spices, dry leaves/grass, dried figs and apricots. The taste has notes of fig cookies and raisin bread with just a hint of butter and cinnamon, pecan and vanilla ice cream and a hint of caramel. Nicely complex, but the finish seems too short. (2008)
