Glenfarclas 31 Port Cask Matured
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 42.8%
Score: 93 Points
A rarity from Glenfarclas, which is known for its use of ex-Sherry casks. The nose has notes of red grapes, honey, vanilla, toasted oak, allspice, and nutmeg. The taste is sweet and fruity with grapefruit, red grapes, ginger, mild cinnamon, and vanilla notes. The finish is long, aromatic, and slightly spicy with hints of lingering grapefruit. Very nice.
