Glenfarclas 1985 Family Cask #2591. Image courtesy Glenfarclas. This ex-Sherry cask was bottled in the spring of 2014, and the nose is classic Glenfarclas with fruity notes of Christmas cake, plums, dates, and a clear Sherry influence. The taste is thick, spicy, and fruity with clove, cardamom, licorice, and orange peel. The finish is long with lasting spices and a touch of fruitiness underneath. Excellent! (November, 2015)
