Glenfarclas 1974 Family Cask
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 60.8%
Score: 93 Points
Cask #5786 was an ex-sherry butt, and this dram has a nose rich with toffee, red apples, cinnamon, and oak. The taste is chewy with dark chocolate, sherry, and a hint of brown sugar. The finish is smooth and lingers with dark chocolate and hazelnut notes. Well-balanced and rich…a great whisky to be paired with dessert!
