Glen Moray Classic Sherry Cask Finish
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 93 Points
Part of Glen Moray’s Elgin Classic range, and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is fruity with apricots, peaches, red apples, and touches of figs and toffee in the background. The taste has a thick, oily mouthfeel with a good balance of fruitiness and spices, as apricots, peaches and apples complement ginger and white pepper spices with touches of figs and toffee in the background. The finish is long, dry, and spicy with a good underlying fruitiness. Overall, excellent balance and complexity! (February, 2018)
