Glen Breton Fiddler's Choice. Image courtesy Glenora Distillery. This no-age-statement Canadian single malt from Glenora Distillery in Nova Scotia is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, and the nose has notes of barley sugar, honey, buttered popcorn, red apples, and touches of heather and dried flowers. The taste is peppery and intense with baking spices, honey, dried flowers, and a touch of tree fruits. The finish is long with subtle spices and a slight nuttiness. (November, 2o18)
