Girvan 1989 Single Cask

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Single Grain

Bottler: Berry Bros. & Rudd

ABV: 45.1%

Score: 85 Points

This is a rare bottling of single grain whisky from William Grant & Sons’ Girvan distillery. The nose is grassy with dried flowers, heather, and a touch of honey. The taste is light with chili pepper and honey notes that become lingering and soft as the chili pepper fades. The finish is aromatic with a slight gin-like note at the back of the throat.
