The 2019 edition, or “medley” as the Remus marketing team at MGP likes to call it, is a blend of three different high-rye Bourbon mashbills distilled in 2007 and 2008. The nose has notes of tobacco leaves, leather, caramel candy, and allspice along with touches of brown sugar and honey. The taste starts off with allspice and clove spices balanced by caramel cola and touches of tobacco leaves and brown sugar. The finish is nice and long with lingering spices and touches of caramel and honey. (January, 2020)
