Four Roses Small Batch Select

Country: USA

Region: Kentucky

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 52%

Score: 93 Points

Four Roses Small Batch Select. Image courtesy Four Roses. This is the first addition to the core Four Roses range in years, and uses a combination of six different Four Roses recipes and whiskies between six and seven years old. The nose has notes of toasted caramel, charred oak, hints of molasses and cocoa, and subtle touches of dried fruits underneath. The taste is well-rounded with good spicy notes of clove and black pepper balanced by peaches, red apples, and touches of molasses and caramel in the background. The finish is long and mouthwatering. Excellent! (April, 2019)
