This annual release uses four of the ten Four Roses recipes, and is a complex and classic Bourbon. The nose has notes of vanilla, molasses, caramel, toasted oak, and brown sugar. The taste is intense and spicy with a blast of black pepper that fades to reveal vanilla, caramel, and a hint of campfire smoke. The finish is sweet and lingering with vanilla and caramel notes.
