This year’s release marks the 135th anniversary of the founding of Four Roses in 1888, and it’s blended from four different batches of whiskey ranging from 12 to 25 years old. The nose has touches of wood spices, honey, allspice, and peaches. The taste has notes of allspice, honey, a hint of cinnamon, peach pie, pears, vanilla, and toasted oak. The finish is long with subtle spices and touches of toasted oak and honey. Excellent! (August, 2023)
