Country: Canada

Region: Ontario

Type: Canadian Whisky

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 45%

Score: 93 Points

Master blender Bill Ashburn used maple staves to season this Forty Creek expression, and the nose has touches of maple syrup, honey, vanilla, and tree fruits. The taste has a sweet balance of butterscotch candies and maple syrup, along with pears, peaches, and a touch of white pepper that comes alive slowly. The finish is long and spicy with a touch of sweetness. Excellent! (November, 2024)
