Flaming Pig Black Cask. Image courtesy Malone's Whiskey Company. This Irish Whiskey is a blend of single malt and single grain whiskies from West Cork Distillers finished in heavily charred first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels. The nose is light and clean with notes of butterscotch, honey, marzipan, and a hint of dried fruits. The taste is thick and fruity with red apples, peaches, subtle spices, and a hint of marzipan. The finish is long, gentle, and nice. (March, 2018)
