Firestone & Robertson TX Barrel Proof Bourbon. Photo ©2020, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media. This Bourbon from Firestone & Robertson in Fort Worth, Texas is four years old, and the nose has touches of charred oak, leather, dried fruits, honey, vanilla beans, and muted spices. The taste is spicy and intense with chili powder, cinnamon, and a hint of black pepper along with a subtle touch of campfire smoke and hints of honey and caramel candy. The finish is long and spicy with s subtle mouth-watering sweetness. Very nice! (April, 2020)
