This whiskey takes fully-matured Elijah Craig Straight Rye and finishes it in new toasted oak barrels. The nose has notes of toasted oak, caramel, a hint of allspice, honey, and tobacco leaf. The taste has a nice balance of toasted caramel, baking spices, honey, tobacco leaf, and vanilla. The finish is long and spicy. (August, 2024)
