This Rye whiskey from Heaven Hill uses the classic Kentucky Rye mashbill of 51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley, and the nose reflects that with a spicy and well-rounded aroma featuring hints of oak, caramel, and honey. The taste has spicy notes of clove, cinnamon, and allspice balanced by caramel, honey, and butterscotch with a hint of oak. The finish is long with gentle spices and an underlying sweetness.
