This Elijah Craig Bourbon highlights the brand’s tie-in with the 2023 Ryder Cup held in Italy, and the whiskey is finished in European Oak barrels toasted with a profile similar to those used in Italy’s Lazio wine region. The nose has touches of dried fruits, baked apples, toffee, and honey. The taste has a nice balance of cherry cola, baked apples, dry spices, toffee, and vanilla. The finish is long with subtle spices and a fruity character. Very nice! (August, 2023)
