Country: Scotland

Type: Blended Malt

Bottler: Elixir Distillers

ABV: 46%

Score: 89 Points

This Islay blended malt from Elixir Distillers is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks and blends Laphroaig with Caol Ila in a 50/50 ratio. The nose has touches of lemon zest and peat smoke, along with heather, honey, dried flowers, and iodine. The taste is peaty and peppery with notes of lemon zest, iodine, honey, and vanilla underneath. The finish is lightly peated and subtle. (January, 2024)
