Egan's Legacy Reserve. Image courtesy P&H Egan Ltd.This 15-year-old Irish single malt has a light, crisp nose with a hint of ginger root, dried fruits, and a nice maltiness. The taste is warm and oaky with notes of clove, allspice, ginger root, honey, vanilla, and a touch of butterscotch. The finish is slightly dry and astringent with lingering spices, honey, and a hint of caramel. (November, 2018)
