Egan's Fortitude. Image courtesy P&H Egan, Ltd.This Irish single malt is matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and the nose is aromatic and fruity with notes of peach jam, raisin bread, honeycomb, and sherry. The taste is fruity and complex with orange marmalade, sherry, peaches, raisins, and subtle spices. The finish is long and fruity with a nice complexity. (February, 2019)
