Scottish singer Dougie McLean selected the single Oloroso sherry cask for this bottling, and picked a gem. The nose is spicy and rich with cloves, honey, figs, and dried orange peel. The taste starts with a great cinnamon blast, which fades slowly to reveal orange peel and roasted almond notes. The finish is long and honeyed with light spices. A few drops of water opens this dram up nicely.
