Dràm Mòr Glenrothes 9 Cask #2851

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Dràm Mòr Group

ABV: 58%

Score: 92 Points

This single malt was finished for its final four months of maturation in a first-fill Moscatel wine cask following 8+ years in a refill ex-Bourbon barrel. The nose has notes of dried fruits, red apples, vanilla, toasted oak, and butterscotch. The taste is sweet with barley sugar, honey, dried flowers, allspice, and a hint of raisins. The finish has a touch of ginger along with oak tannins, raisins, and a hint of citrus. (February, 2021)
