Dingle Single Malt Batch No. 3. Image courtesy Dingle Distillery. This 2018 release is a blend of 70% ex-Bourbon and 30% ex-Port wine casks, and the nose is buttery and floral with touches of dried fruits, light spices, and honey sweetness. The taste is thick and spicy with good notes of baking spices, tropical fruits, honey, and dried flowers. The finish has lingering spices with a touch of fruit. Very nice. (December, 2018)
