This is one of the initial three whiskies in the Double Double range created by Dewar’s Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, and is finished in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose has notes of black cherries, peaches, apricots, honey, and muted spices. The taste has good spices led by a touch of cinnamon candies, along with black cherries, honey, and apricots. The finish is very long and fruity with gently fading spices. Excellent! (March, 2019)
