This blended Scotch from Dewar’s is finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak, and the nose has notes of sandalwood, coconut, pine needles, and vanilla. The taste is fruity with a nice spicy kick and notes of stone fruits, sandalwood, coconut, a touch of pine sap, and vanilla. The finish is long and smooth with a nice balance of stone fruits, vanilla, and a lingering note of sandalwood. Very nice! (April, 2024)
