Dewar’s 2021 “The Champion’s Edition”

Dewar's 2021

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Blended Scotch

Bottler: John Dewar & Sons

ABV: 43%

Score: 92 Points

This 19-year-old blended Scotch is the first in an annual series of releases in the Dewar’s partnership with the United States Golf Association to be the official Scotch Whisky of the U.S. Open. The nose has a touch of citrusy tartness with hints of honeycomb, black tea with lemon, and green apples. The taste is full of lemon pepper, black tea and honey, citrus, green apples, and a hint of ginger. The finish is long, tart, and citrusy. Very nice! (May, 2021)
