This 19-year-old Dewar’s whisky was released to celebrate the 2024 U.S. Open golf tournament at Pinehurst, and is finished in Rye whisky casks. The nose has touches of pears, honey, soft spices, and vanilla. The taste has an excellent balance of pears, honey, cinnamon, cocoa powder, a hint of black pepper, vanilla, and peach notes. The finish is long and spicy. Very nice! (April, 2024)
