Deanston 1999 Muscat Cask Finish
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 55.2%
Score: 93 Points
This Highland single malt spent 17 years in ex-Bourbon casks and the final two years in Muscat wine casks. The nose is fruity with notes of fresh berries, honey, dried apricots, and a hint of oak. The taste has a great balance of dried fruits, baking spices, heather, honey, vanilla cream, mango, papaya, and caramel. The finish is very long with lingering touches of spices and dried fruits. Very nice! (March, 2019)
