The Dalmore Clan Mackenzie Limited Edition

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 94 Points

This 17-year-old Dalmore was finished in port wine casks, and the nose is full of orange marmalade, allspice, red grapes, and a hint of pipe tobacco. The taste starts off with a lingering cinnamon spice that fades to reveal orange marmalade, a slight tartness, and very smooth with a touch of oak that carries over into the finish with traces of orange maramalde. I like the consistency here.
