Crown Royal Noble Collection French Oak Cask Finished Canadian Whisky. Image courtesy Crown Royal/Diageo. This is the fourth annual release in Crown Royal’s Noble Collection of limited-edition Canadian whiskies. The nose has notes of plums, figs, dates, muted spices, and hints of vanilla and molasses. The taste is syrupy-thick with dark fruits, hints of white pepper and allspice, and touches of molasses, vanilla, and peaches that add complexity in the background. The finish is long with lingering spices, dark fruits, and a hint of molasses. (June, 2019)
