Creative Whisky Company 1988 Girvan. Image courtesy ImpEx Beverages. This 27-year-old single grain from Scotland’s Girvan Distillery is part of the Creative Whisky Company’s Exclusive Malts series. The nose has notes of buttered popcorn, ginger, nutmeg, oatmeal, and cinnamon. The taste is spicy with cinnamon, pepper, and hints of lemon zest and grapefruit. The finish is long and tart with subtle spices. (June, 2016)
