This version of Compass Box’s classic Hedonism blended grain Scotch whisky was released to mark the company’s 15th anniversary in 2015. The nose has notes of caramel corn, honey, peach pie with a graham cracker crust, nutmeg, and a hint of walnuts. The taste is tart and fruity with lemon zest, a hint of black pepper, nutmeg, peaches, and touches of licorice and oak. The finish is dry, tart, and fruity with notes of pears and peaches, along with a slight pepperiness. Excellent! (May, 2015)
