This blended grain Scotch Whisky celebrates the 20th anniversary of Compass Box’s founding with the original Hedonism, and uses whiskies from Port Dundas, Strathclyde, and the North British grain distilleries. The nose is crisp and floral with touches of straw, citrus fruits, and hints of butterscotch and honey. The taste is intense and tart with lemon pepper, honey, and butterscotch. The spice fades to emphasize the sweeter notes with a hint of dried flowers. The finish is long, sweet, and floral with a lingering touch of spice. Excellent! (October, 2020)
