ABV: 50%

Score: 94 Points

This blended Scotch from the Compass Box Extinct Blends Quartet is the peatiest of the four blends, and was inspired by a popular blend from the 1960’s. Compass Box can’t say it, but we will…it was the White Horse blend. The nose is fruity with apricots, red apples, dried flowers, honey, and a kiss of smoke. The taste is thick and spicy with a nice balance of fruity notes, white pepper, apricots, honey, and a gentle smokiness. The finish is long with lingering spice and just a kiss of smoke. Excellent!
